East Caln Township recently completed an update to its comprehensive plan. The township was awarded an in-kind grant of $37,000 — 60% of the project cost — through Chester County's Vision Partnership Program to update the 2011 comprehensive plan. The plan update process began in 2022 and the final update was adopted in March. The plan is divided into six topic areas: community mobility connections; natural resources and environmental sustainability; parks and recreation; commercial and economic development; community services and facilities; and future land use.
