Lower Salford Township supervisors will hold a public hearing to consider amendments to the solicitation and peddling ordinance. The amendments include: exemptions for registration requirements for religious and political soliciting; establishing an application fee; prohibiting soliciting and peddling on properties with “no soliciting” signs posted; and amending violations. Copies of the full text of the proposed Ordinance 2024-03 are available for examination during normal business hours at Lower Salford Township Building, and a copy can be found on the township’s meeting agendas webpage. The public hearing will be held on Wednesday, July 3, at 7:30 p.m. in the township building, 379 Main St., Harleysville.
