Gov. Josh Shapiro’s office announced the deadline to apply for property tax/rent rebates has been extended. The deadline for older adults and Pennsylvanians with disabilities to apply for the rebates on rent and property taxes paid in 2023 is now Dec. 31, 2024. Previously the deadline was June 30. Eligible residents include Pennsylvanians 65 and older, widows and widowers 50 and older, and people with disabilities 18 and older.
