The Haverford Township School Board is scheduled to vote on Thursday, June 13, on a budget proposal that would raise taxes for the 2024-2025 school year. The proposed budget would raise the millage rate from 18.1684 to 18.8951 mills, with 1 mill equaling $1 of tax for every $1,000 in assessed property value. According to the district, a home with an assessed value of about $346,400 will see a tax bill of about $6,546, a roughly $250 increase from the previous year. The budget stands at $150.46 million in revenues and $154.52 million in expenditures.
