New Garden Township supervisors are considering a draft ordinance that would regulate residential rental units. The ordinance would provide for the inspection and permitting of rental units, require landlords to file reports listing all rental units, and authorize the code enforcement officer to inspect them. A copy of the ordinance is available at the township office during normal business hours. The public hearing and vote will be held on Monday, Aug. 21, at 7 p.m. at the New Garden Township Building, 299 Starr Road.
