Sewer certification information - Please call the Township if the property that is being sold is located on Valley Forge Road, Hickory Hill Drive, Landis Road, Crest Terrace and Green Briar Drive to see if the property is a part of a special assessment for a sewer connection. (7/2020) 

Sewer cert request for Milestone development which is in Worcester Township is serviced by Towamencin Sewer, so a sewer cert request must be sent to Towamencin Township, not Worcester Township.

North Penn Water Authority account holder changes effective Jan. 1, 2026

North Penn Water Authority (NPWA) has announced important changes to account holders for water service specifically affecting rental and lease properties. The new regulation states that “All service connections and account billing shall be issued only to the property owner for each parcel. As such, new accounts will not be in the name of tenants, renters, boarders, property managers and lessees.” An “Owner” is the person who is named as the Owner of the premises in the deed of record as recorded in the County Recorder of Deeds office. The policy shall become effective, without exception, on January 1, 2026. New accounts up to that date may be held by either the tenant or the property owner and current accounts will not be required to be updated to the property owner until the tenant terminates service.

Open House Directional Signs:
  • Amended May 2013 - According to ordinance - Signs advertising an "open house" in connection with the sale or rental of a property. Such signs may be erected no more than one business day prior to the open house and shall be removed by the end of the day of the open house event. One such sign shall be allowed at the entrance to the property for sale, and one such sign shall be allowed either at the entrance to the development, or at the closest major intersection to the property. Signs shall not exceed four square feet in size or four feet in height and shall not be illuminated in any manner.
For Sale/Sold Signs:
  • Sign ordinance amended May 2013 - Temporary for sale signs are exempt from permit. According to ordinance - Signs advertising or inviting the sale or rental of the premises on which they are erected. One sign shall be permitted per street frontage, not to exceed six square feet in size and six feet in height. Such sign shall be removed promptly when the property is no longer available for sale or rent. Such signs shall not be illuminated in any manner.
