Parts of Upper Hanover are served by the Upper Montgomery Joint Authority which, as of 9/30/2014, will require a private sewer lateral inspection at point of sale. Please contact the authority to verify that a property is within their coverage area.

PLEASE NOTE - Effective 9/30/2014 the Upper Montgomery Joint Authority will require property owners to have a private sewer lateral inspection UPON SALE OF THEIR PROPERTY or upon addition of fixtures (such as adding a bathroom, kitchenette, etc.). The authority will inspect the surface cleanout, televise the private lateral and survey the outside drainage system. Property owners MUST contact the authority at 215-679-5133 at least TEN (10) DAYS prior to settlement or the start of construction. There is currently no fee for this inspection.
