Doylestown Township isn’t the only municipality in our region to offer an information packet for new residents, but it’s a good example of one that’s done well.
The 23-page document, which was updated in June, welcomes new residents, provides important phone numbers and websites, and lists municipal and elected officials.
It explains that a use and occupancy inspection is not required, but a deed registration and a move-in registration must both be completed.
It also goes over tax information, waste collection companies and local utilities, parks and recreation resources, and volunteer opportunities.
