The Nov. 5 general election ballots in six local municipalities included
referendum questions, allowing voters to directly vote on initiatives like new taxes for open space preservation.

Bucks County
Lower Makefield Township: Borrowing $15 million for open space preservation — approved
West Rockhill Township: Borrowing $3 million for renovating community pool — rejected 

Chester County
New Garden Township: 0.1-mill tax increase to fund Kennett Library — rejected
East Whiteland Township: 0.05% EIT increase for open space preservation — approved
Uwchlan Township: 0.25% EIT for open space preservation — approved

Delaware County
Upland Borough: Granting of liquor licenses — approved

Montgomery County had no referendums
