SRA Services Overview

Four Ways We Help Realtors

The Suburban Realtors Alliance is a shared government affairs office for the Bucks County Association of Realtors and Tri-County Suburban Realtors. Here is a quick overview of ways the Alliance serves you as an association member:

  1. We maintain a database of municipal regulations and other information. Some towns require property maintenance code inspections before a sale; some have rules about where you can place "open house" signs. Log into our municipal database to review the rules in the towns you serve.

  2. We help you work with municipalities.  Are you having trouble getting a use and occupancy certificate? Are your calls to the code inspector going unanswered? Contact us for assistance.

  3. We advocate for you at local, state and federal government levels. The Alliance maintains relationships with elected officials, and monitors proposed laws and ordinances that affect Realtors and homeowners. In 2016, the Alliance played an integral role in amending Pennsylvania's Municipal Code and Ordinance Compliance Act, protecting homebuyers and sellers from municipal overreach.

  4. We monitor the news and each Friday send out briefs of stories relevant to local Realtors. When a major housing development is being planned or a new zoning ordinance is under consideration, you'll read about it in our briefs. Read here for free.

SRA staff are happy to visit member offices to discuss our services, provide legislative updates and answer questions. Learn more HERE.
