Community Liaison

The Community Liaison program provides our members a unique opportunity to become involved in the areas of government which directly impact the communities where they live and work.  To support our mission in our 238 municipalities, SRA Community Liaisons utilize the networks they already have to represent the interests of the real estate industry and consumers.  In the event of a major issue of concern for REALTORS® in the area, the City Hall Observer will be briefed by SRA staff and asked to contact their local officials.

Membership in the Community Liaison program does not involve a significant time commitment. All we require is a willingness to get involved in the communities that you already live in and care about. Together, we can be a powerful voice for our industry and the consumers we serve!

Program Benefits

Whether or not you are currently active within your municipality, the SRA will give you the tools, opportunities and information to make a difference. Program benefits include:

  • Direct assistance from SRA staff in the event of a major issue within your community
  • Attendance at the SRA Annual Shareholders’ Meeting
  • Advocacy Training
  • Access to a network of fellow leaders, dedicated to improving communities in the region.

For more information about the program, please contact Government Affairs Manager Erin Smist at 610-981-9000.
